Failure to adhere to the guidelines may result in your story being rejected without review. Writers who submit content that violates our content restrictions (found in our "Hard Pass" list) may be permanently blacklisted from submitting in the future.

All submitters are required to have an account on The Dread Machine, so that we may link your published work to your profile. Don't worry, we won't send you any marketing emails, and none of us want your stupid cookies. We'd just like to keep our workflow seamless and eliminate publication delays and back-and-forth emails as much as possible. DO NOT skip this step.
